Autumn Winter 2011 from Hidesign
For those of you who like Hidesign’s organic leather and rugged designs, their A/W 2011 collection plays on chic and vintage, with designs being retrieved from their archives to bring out a collection of retro chic bags. Boxy constructions, vintage styling, intricate details and stunning textures created out of handcrafted leathers are what this collection is all about.
According to the company, “The Joanne range introduces lizard printed vegetable tanned leathers this season. The collection also has oil-rich two toned, burnished, natural grained vegetable tanned and faux crocodile printed leathers. A strikingly deep tone of inky midnight blue plays a prominent part in the Thelma range, which features a colour palette ranging from classic tans, browns and blacks to fiery reds, honey and whimsical aubergines. The woven surface detail in the Pearl range and the boat like futuristic construction of Nicole bag promise a second look.”
